Food Bag List
Please use this list* when assembling a food bag for neighborhood
distribution. Any amount donated of the items listed would be greatly
appreciated, or you can assemble a complete bag. Bring your items
or assembled bag by the church office Monday thru Thursday 9a.m.
to 4p.m. or on Sunday morning and place it in the shopping cart
located in the narthex (entryway to the John Wesley Hall). Monetary
donations are always welcome. Our volunteers are able to purchase
items when they are on sale in large quantities. Please make checks
payable to: Wesley UMC and write food pantry on the memo line. You
can drop you donation in the offering on Sunday or mail to the church
office at 1343 E. Barstow Ave., Fresno, CA 93710
Why do we ask for specific items?
We often have several folks in the office requesting a food bag at the
same time. It makes the distribution of the bags much easier for our
volunteers when the contents are all the same.

*Each Food Bag Contains the Following Items
Applesauce (24 oz. plastic jar)
Saltine Crackers (1 box)
Box of Cereal (Cheerios are preferred since they work well with adults and toddlers just the same - generic brand okay)
Corn (1 can)
Peas or Green Beans (1 can)
Tuna (1 can)
Peanut Butter (1 jar)
Ramen Noodles (2 packages)
Macaroni & Cheese (2 boxes)
Toilet tissue (1 roll)
Soap (1 bar)
Wesley will add 1 pound of Rice and 1 pound of Pinto Beans to each bag.
