Items Needed

 

Like any church, our church is always seeking out donations.  Below you will find a list of current items we are collecting and the events they are for.

Please drop any of the items listed by the Church Office Monday through Friday 9am to 4 pm or on Sunday.

 

Vacation Bible School is in need of the following supplies for craft projects and decorations.

VBS Date: July 26th through 30th.
 
Space pictures / posters
Blank or used CDs or DVDs
Empty 16oz water bottles
Fluorescent crayons, makers & paint
Colored craft sticks
Magnetic tape
Rick rack
Chenille stems
Aluminum pie plates
Jingle bells; beads
Dryer vent hoses (clean)
Black lights; black butcher paper
Recyclable items: cereal boxes, plastic wrap, cotton balls, toothpicks, macaroni, beads, buttons, etc.

Fresh Fruit
Flour Tortillas
Canned refried beans
Cheese (shredded and american slices)
Eggs
Cheese sticks
Jelly
Lunchmeat (ham or turkey preferably)
Milk (gallon containers)
Yogurt (fruit)
Carrots and or celery
Cookies
Sausage

Food Bags - We gladly accept single and multiple items or you can fill a complete food bag.

Saltine crackers - 1 box
Canned corn
Canned peas
Canned tuna
Peanut butter - 16-32 oz jar
Ramen noodles - 2 packages
Macaroni & cheese - 2 boxes
Toilet tissue - each bag receives 1 roll
Bar soap - each bag receives 1 bar
Applesauce - 24 oz jar


The church will provide a 1 pound bag of rice and 1 pound bag of pinto beans in each bag.
Please use our list of items needed.  All the bags are then the same when we give them to folks who come into the office.

Recycling (2nd Sunday of the month)

  1. Glass bottles - clear, green or brown
  2. Redeemable Plastic Bottles - soda, water & juice
  3. Milk Bottles
  4. Aluminum Cans
  5. Newspaper, Magazines, Phone Books
  6. White Office Paper
  7. Colored Paper - Junk Mail
*WE DO NOT ACCEPT: Junk plastic, Styrofoam, metals (except aluminum) or cardboard. PLEASE!
We will have a Special Collection Date for Electronic Waste!  Look for the date to be posted in Wesley's Encounter Newsletter.
 
 
 
Base Camp  (Note: Base Camp takes a break from June 10th through September 2nd)
  1. Pasta (any shape, any size)
  2. Rice (plain in the bag, white or brown and no mixes)
  3. Dry or canned beans and/or lentils; canned tomatoes - diced or crushed
  4. Kosher salt, pepper, chicken bouillon cubes, garlic whole fresh or small jars
  5. Frozen vegetables
  6. Condiments (mayo, mustard, ketchup, pickles, peppers)
  7. Cooking oil - Olive or Canola
  8. Cake mixes
  9. Potatoes, any size or type
  10. Butter (tubs, pats, unsalted sticks...it's all good)
  11. Dish soap
  12. Sponges
  13. Scrubbers
  14. Zip-lock bags quart or gallon size
  15. Napkins
  16. Take-home storage containers for leftovers
